Good day Okikiola,
Thank you for your blog post, it’s been helpful. Please I want to ask how did you go about getting your travel insurance.
Hello Uche,
I’m glad you found my blog helpful!
For travel insurance, I usually compare providers like AXA Mansard, Allianz, Leadway Assurance, Mutual Benefits, Cornerstone, AIICO Insurance, etc. I mostly settle for the Cheapest provided it covers the necessary protection.
I hope this helps!
Best,
Okikiola
Hello Okikiola,
Please assist me with the following information?
(1) Please like how much money in naira minimum should you have in your account for a 10 days stay.
(2) Is it paid flight proof or book on hold?
(3) Is it paid hotel reservations or just booking?
(4) Is there any interview?
(5) Can i drop that of my wife together with mine without her going with me?
(6) How long did your take?
Hello Mr Okeke,
1 – The FX rate is not helping. When I applied last year, I had about 2.5 million closing balances in the particular bank statement I submitted. However, I’ll recommend a minimum of 5 million now. If you have a domiciliary bank account with funds, it’s also a good choice.
2 – Book on hold. You can make use of Wakanow and choose the bank transfer option. Wakanow will contact you, and tell them you are using it for visa application purposes.
3 – If you have the funds, you can pay for a hotel reservation, however, be sure it’s refundable. Otherwise, you can use the pay at the property option. I’ll recommend booking.com for this.
4 – NO. It’s simply non-appearance. Third-party submission is accepted.
5 – YES
6 – I submitted January 19, 2023, and I went for pick up on February 6, 2023. The approval date on the visa was February 3.
NB: This information is from my experience which is over a year. There may have been changes in some things. Thank you.
